Dr Pepetual Mforbe Chiangong is a habilitation candidate at the Chair of African Literatures at the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

She was a Assistant Professor at the Chair of African Literatures and Cultures from October 2012 to July 2023. She was also a scholarship holder at the department from 1 August 2023 to 31 January 2024.
