Guy Armel FOGANG TOYEM comes from Cameroon and studied German language and literature at the University of Yaoundé I. He graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in German language and literature. In 2011 he completed his Bachelor's degree in German Studies/German as a Foreign Language and in 2017 my Master's degree in German Socio-Political History. Thanks to a DAAD scholarship since April 2021, he is doing his PhD at the Humboldt University of Berlin and intends to write a thesis in German Colonial History with a focus on the colonisation of Cameroon/Togo. His areas of specialisation are: Comparative History, Media Studies and Political Science, especially Development Cooperation, Culture and Education.
