Brahima Camara is professor at the Universté des Lettres et des Sciences Humaines de Bamako. He was Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature until the end of April 2019. Mr. Camara teaches at the Department of German Literature, his research focus is oral literature.
From 01.05. to 31.07.2019 he was a DAAD-funded guest at the Department of African Literatures and Cultures. His research topic was "Romeo and Juliet in the Village" and "Sara", the literary processing of two myths. An intercultural investigation.
