Save the Date!
Please join us for the 3rd Indonesian Studies Day, hosted by the IAAW on January 15, 2026.
One of the main events of the day will be our students' multimedia presentations on their September 2025 excursion to Indonesia.
Next in focus will be sustainability and the use of geothermal energy in Indonesia. Two international experts will deliver introductory talks on the topic, followed by the screening of the film Barang Panas, which gives voice to Indonesians affected by geothermal energy use—and whose stories are not all about its positive impact.
Throughout our Indonesian Studies Day, you will have the opportunity to enjoy dance and song performances—and help yourself to traditional Indonesian snacks.
