WORK EXPERIENCE

Principal Research Assistant, October 2019 – Date

Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, Accra, Ghana

  • Coordinated a sub-team to develop project plan, train enumerators, supervise fieldwork and review primary data on a project titled “DeliverEd Research Project”. Jointly contracted by the Education Commission, the University of Oxford and the University of Toronto; and funded by the UK
  • Coordinated a sub-team to develop project plan, implement project, analysed data and wrote a research report on a project titled “Nationwide Socio-economic Survey on using Nuclear Energy in Ghana”. Contracted by Nuclear Power Ghana (NPG) and funded by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
  • Coordinated a sub-team to develop project plan, implement project, analysed data and wrote a research report on a project titled “Ghana! Supporting local development tackling irregular migration from West Africa”. Jointly contracted and funded by International Voluntary Service for Development (VIS) and Salesians of Don Bosco of Ghana.
  • Worked as a member of a sub-team to conduct an ethnographic field research at Dompim in the Western Region of Ghana on a project titled “Social and Environmental Trade-Offs in African Agriculture (SENTINEL)”. Contracted by IIED and funded by Global Challenges Research Fund.
  • Worked as a member of a sub-team to analyse data and wrote a monitoring and evaluation report on a project titled “Ghana COCOBOD’s Environmental and Sustainability project”. Contracted and funded by the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD).
  • Worked with other colleagues to write and submit technical and financial proposals in ISSER’s respond to calls for undertaking the following research projects:
    • Development of research on the project titled “Ghana! Supporting local development tackling irregular migration from West Africa”. Jointly contracted by International Voluntary Service for Development (VIS) and Salesians of Don Bosco of Ghana.

‘Madamfo-Ghana’ Child Trafficking Rescue Project, Department of Social Welfare, Kpando, Ghana

  • Assisted the director to rescue fifteen (15) trafficked children and also prepare social enquiry reports which allowed the rescued children to be placed in foster homes.
