CARL - Central Asia Research Lab

In the winter semester 2025/26, we will launch CARL – the Central Asia Research Lab, which will take place every two weeks on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in room 507. Here we present the schedule with an overview of the first eight individual events for the winter semester 2025/26.

In the first edition of CARL, Prof. Dr. Diana Lange will present her current research on October 28, 2025, on the topic:

"Mapping the Land of Snows: Creating a Book Concept for a Publication at the Interface of Area Studies and Mapping History."

We hope this format will encourage and facilitate a lively exchange about research at the Central Asian Seminar and provide a framework for constructive feedback.

All interested parties are warmly welcome.
