Berlin is the capital of Germany, a great place to study and one of the most exciting cities on the globe. There are three major universities, some of the best libraries in Europe and plenty of institutes – not to forget organizations and media agencies located in the capital offering places for internships and employment. Berlin boasts world-class museums, theaters and orchestras as well as vibrant scenes in all fields of alternative culture. 

 

Study Fees 

Studying at one of the top university’s of Berlin is free of costs. We do not charge any study fees, but there are a few minor fees which you have to pay for the term.

 

Jobs and opportunities

Berlin offers many opportunities for internships and student jobs. As a student of the Humboldt-Universität You have a chance to acquire a job as student assistant at one of our departments. Apart from this, there are many job opportunities for students in Berlin – just contact the Heinzelmännchen Employment Agencywhich acts as a special agent for students. Getting around in Berlin

The Berlin public transport system is overall sufficient and efficient. For guidance on your connections, please visit the website of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG). Students have to buy a semester ticket via Humboldt-Universität which is valid for six months. Please contact the Semester Ticket Office.
