Grounded in decolonial feminist perspectives, it examines how colonization and socio-economic changes have influenced this community-centered tradition. By challenging colonial narratives of stagnancy, the talk highlights how pitiki remains a dynamic, adaptive practice that empowers women in navigating the socio-cultural complexities of post-colonial Lesotho.
