Teaching and Research Portfolio

Since October 2018, I am employed as a research assistant for the professorship Transregional Southeast Asian Studies of Prof. Dr. Claudia Derichs at the IAAW. My dissertation project focuses on the handling of sexualized violence cases at higher education institutions in Indonesia. In my research, I am concerned with combining feminist perspectives with postcolonial theory and decoloniality. Therefore, I regularly offer seminars on decolonial feminisms in Southeast Asia and matriarchal social structures.

I enjoyed my own academic education at the University of Bremen and the University of Augsburg. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Political Science and English-Speaking Cultures with a teaching option in 2015, I moved to the University of Augsburg to study for a Master's degree in Social Conflict Studies, which I completed in September 2018.
