Dr Hyslop is an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellow and Visiting Researcher at the Chair of Tibetology from 15 July 2021 to 15 July 2022.

She is a linguist at the University of Sydney and researches at the Central Asia Seminar at HU Berlin on Ethnolinguistic (pre-)history of the Eastern Himalayas.
