Prof. Dr. Yigbe was a visiting scholar at the Department of African Literatures and Cultures from 1 August to 31 December 2019 as an Alexander von Humboldt Scholar. His research topic is: "Togo in den deutsch-französischen Beziehungen in der 1940er, 1950er und 1960er Jahren".

 

Prof. Dr. Yigbe was a DAAD returnee at the Department of African Literatures and Cultures from 14 August to 12 October 2017.

 

Gilbert Dotsé Yigbe (Université de Lomé, Togo) was a visiting scholar at our seminar several times, and did research (together with Prof. Dr. Susanne Gehrmann) within the framework of the project "Media Change and Intermediality in Togolese Cultures", funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
